Guest Chef Luncheon & Tour of Rancho de Las Golondrinas: John Vollertsen

Wine Seminar: Alma Rosa Winery with Richard and Thekla Sanford
Since his Pinot Noir plantings in 1970 that pioneered winemaking in Santa Barbara, Richard Sanford of Alma Rosa Winery has been and remains among the region's leaders. As this year's Santa Fe Wine & Chile Fiesta Honorary Wine Achievement Award Winners, Richard and Thekla Sanford will pour eight distinctive Alma Rosa wines -- Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc and Chardonnay, including the five single vineyard wines from their Sta. Rita Hills holdings in Santa Barbara, dedicated to organic farming and sustainable agriculture.

Guest Chef Demo & Wine Tasting: Ryan Hardy of Little Nell Charcuterie & Wine
A true artisan, Chef/ farmer Ryan Hardy of Montagna at the Little Nell in Aspen, creates his own cheeses and handcrafts his own salumi. Hardy will lead a demonstration at the Santa Fe School of Cooking focusing on how to cure and prepare charcuterie and how it best pairs with wine. Hardy will discuss his signature Farmhouse Cooking and how it is supported at Little Nell from his 15-acre organic farm that he owns in Paonia, Colorado, just over the mountains from Aspen.
