Guest Chef Demo & Luncheon: Georgia O’Keeffe Immersion with John Sedlar of Eloisa, 8:30am to 2:00pm at O’Keeffe Museum and Santa Fe School of Cooking, $150
Your morning begins at the O’Keeffe Museum with a continental breakfast on the patio with a discussion led by a museum curator on O’Keeffe’s life and art. After your own self-guided tour of the O’Keeffe Museum you will take a short stroll to the Santa Fe School of Cooking. John Sedlar, award winning chef with roots from Abiquiu, and Margaret Woods, O‘Keeffe’s personal assistant for years, will explore Georgia O’Keeffe’s ideas about food and cooking—a unique perspective on food for the time, appreciating simple, seasonal foods that were grown and handled with care. Margaret will share personal stories and insights into Georgia O’Keeffe’s life while Chef John Sedlar’s recipes weave in the context to create the texture of O’Keeffe’s sensibility. The four-course lunch will be paired with wines from Bordeaux from Craft + Estate.
