Established in 1973 by the Cakebread family, this top-tier, family-owned winery is a testament to an enduring legacy of winemaking. Jack Cakebread, who began his winemaking journey at UC Davis, created all his own wines until 1978 when his son Bruce joined him as the winemaker. Today, they own 15 sites that span just under 800 plantable acres across Carneros, Rutherford, Howell Mountain, Anderson Valley, and other prime locations in Napa Valley.
