Farm to Plate Demo with Peter Jacobsen

Santa Fe Wine & Chile Fiesta is honored to have Peter Jacobsen of Jacobsen Orchards, a Culinary Farmer from Napa Valley, attending our event this year. For the last 18 years, Peter’s primary client has been Thomas Keller at The French Laundry in Yountville, California.

We invite you to sit outside in the garden of Arroyo Vino with a glass of rosé with Jacobsen who will take guests on a visual, olfactory and gustatory culinary journey. This totally unique culinary experience will show how a chef communicates to a farmer on the products they need to produce their culinary creations. He will also entice us to try our imagination to create recipe ideas for the unique products he will taste us on.

For the last 6 years Jacobsen has provided a similar presentation to each incoming Culinary Institute of America chef class, in St Helena, California, on Chefs Working with Farmers.
