Santa Fe Wine & Chile Fiesta Grand Tasting 2021 in the Works
The Santa Fe Wine & Chile Fiesta has started planning their 2021 events, scheduled for September 22nd thru 26th. As an event whose mission is to market the Santa Fe restaurant community as a world-class destinate, the Fiesta is eager to celebrate our 30th anniversary with our Santa Fe restaurants, our winery partners and you, our guests. We are incredibly excited to be ‘coming home for our 30th Anniversary’ and hosting our Grand Tasting in downtown Santa Fe once again.
The Fiesta started laying the ground-work last year to move the Grand Tasting to Magers Field at the Santa Fe Fort Marcy Complex. The historic downtown venue offers plenty of beautiful grassy space, outdoor views of the clear New Mexico blue sky and easy walking distance from downtown Santa Fe.
Another exciting announcement is that Reagan Rombauer Blackwood will be joining the 30th Anniversary party as the Santa Fe Wine & Chile Fiesta Honorary Winery of the Year in 2021. As a qualitative leader in Napa Valley for 40 years, Rombauer Vineyards has been a longtime big supporter of Santa Fe Wine & Chile Fiesta. A third-generation family owner, Reagan is excited to host the annual Live Auction Luncheon showcasing five of her family’s wines with five guest chefs.
The Fiesta is also working on wine speakers and visiting and local guest chefs for the annual offering of Guest Chef Luncheons, Wine Seminars, Cooking demos and other signature outdoor walk around tastings like Rosé all Day. The Fiesta continues to evolve and as with this year’s new Grand Tasing venue, the Fiesta is always looking for new sites and events to keep you engaged with our unique restaurant and winery partners.
Finally, we are incredibly honored and excited that artist Dan Namingha, also celebrating 30 years at his Santa Fe gallery, will be this year’s featured artist. The entire schedule of events will be announced mid-June of 2021 as per the regular event scheduling and tickets will go on sale July 5th.
We know our 30th Annual event celebrating our unique Santa Fe restaurant community would not be here without all the support of sponsors, the City of Santa Fe, the 100s of participating wineries, and our return guests. We are grateful for your participation. After a year off from seeing all of you in person, we look forward to celebrating in food and wine with one another the last weekend of September 2021.
