Melissa Dominguez is classically trained chef with roots in hands-on culinary education and a deep love for Italian cuisine. After attending culinary school, she won a scholarship to study in Italy, where immersive learning sharpened her technique and shaped her cooking philosophy. She has been working as a chef since 1997, bringing over two decades of experience to every kitchen she has joined. Her career includes roles at Mu Du Noodles, La Boca, the Santa Fe Opera, Tumbleroot/East Root and La Mama, where she has blended discipline, creativity, and a respect for tradition to craft memorable dishes.
