Executive Chef, Cafecito Santa Fe
Born in Illinois, Chef Jordan Isaacson has been working in restaurants since he was 15 years old. Jordan began culinary school in his home city of Chicago. He moved west to finish his education and begin his professional career. In Denver, Jordan spent his years honing his skills in kitchens like Acorn, El Five, Magee Homestead, Ester’s Neighborhood Pub, True Food Kitchen, and Cook Street School of Culinary Arts.
During the pandemic in 2020, Jordan moved to Las Cruces, New Mexico with his wife Jess. During those years Jordan built a Tiny House, worked as a Private Chef, and took on the Executive Chef role at Grounded, a wood fired pizza restaurant in the heart of Las Cruces.
Jordan & Jess moved north to Santa Fe in 2023. Since joining Cafecito in April 2024, Jordan has been on a mission to elevate this beloved restaurant to the next level. His priorities are to build upon Cafecito’s solid foundation by building local partnerships within our community, sharing the knowledge he has absorbed over the years, and fostering a positive work environment.
