Born and raised in Mexico, Efrain relocated to Santa Fe, New Mexico where he is
a professionally trained chef and baker with over 20 years of experience working
in some of the best Santa Fe restaurants. Currently the Lead Chef at High Desert
Café and Bar at The Mystic, he is responsible for executing an ever-evolving
menu, creating unique new items, and managing the kitchen and staff.
