Subject: Notice of Event & Road Impacts – Santa Fe Wine & Chile Fiesta at Fort Marcy Park

Dear Neighbor,

The Santa Fe Wine & Chile Fiesta returns to Magers Field in Fort Marcy Park on Friday, September 26 and Saturday, September 27, 2025 for our 34^th Annual Fiesta. We want to make sure nearby residents are informed in advance about timing, park access, and traffic impacts.

Key Dates & Times

• Community Briefing: Wednesday, September 3 – Virtual information session hosted via Zoom at 5PM.  Link is HERE. 
• Setup Begins: Friday, September 19- Saturday, September 20 – Park will remain open but the equipment vehicles for set up are planned to arrive
• Park Closed: Sunday, September 21 – Tuesday, September 30 – Park closed to the public; security in place
• Event Days: Friday, September 26 & Saturday, September 27 – Parks and Complex closed; traffic control in effect, you will always have access to your home/driveway Breakdown Completed: Tuesday, September 30 – Park fully reopens by mid-day
• Event Days: Friday, September 26 & Saturday, September 27 – Pickleball Courts Closed; parking lots are reserved for event participants
• On-Site Notification Signs Installed: September 19 – with closure maps, schedule, and contact information

Traffic & Road Impacts

Expect extra traffic during setup, event days, and breakdown. Portions of Bishops Lodge Road and nearby streets will have temporary restrictions to keep pedestrians safe. Detours will be marked, and our parking staff will wave you through when you let them know you live in the area.

Staying Informed

• Email & Phone Hotline: Contact information will be provided on mailed notices and posted on signage.
• Mailers: A printed notice will be delivered to homes within a 4-block radius of Magers Field prior to the main events.
• Online Updates: Event schedule, maps, and closure details will be available on the Wine & Chile Fiesta website.

We’ll send one more reminder before setup begins, and you’ll see signs posted in advance. After the event, you’ll get a short survey so we can hear your feedback.
