We’re proud to honor Merry Edwards Winery as our 2025 Winery of the Year. Founded in 1997, the winery has built its reputation on terroir-driven, single-vineyard Pinot Noirs—most notably the flagship Meredith Estate—and its highly sought-after, barrel-aged Russian River Valley Sauvignon Blanc. With estate vineyards across the Russian River Valley and in Anderson Valley, the winery also produces exceptional appellation-blend Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs that highlight the character of each AVA. Now a Certified California Sustainable Winery, Merry Edwards continues its legacy under the direction of Winemaker Heidi von der Mehden. Nicole Carter, President of Roederer Collection US, which is owned by the legendary Champagne Louis Roederer, will join us in Santa Fe for the Wine & Chile Fiesta to celebrate this special honor. A respected leader in the wine industry, Carter brings decades of experience in brand development, marketing, and global strategy across some of the world’s most prestigious wine and spirits portfolios.
