Joy Lindholm, originally from Omaha, Nebraska, earned a degree in International Studies from the University of Nebraska before discovering a passion for wine while attending culinary school and working in the corporate world. After building experience as a sommelier, bar manager, and beverage director in upscale restaurants, and several years in wine wholesale distribution, they joined Skurnik Wines & Spirits in 2017 as Western Regional Manager. Based in Denver, Joy oversees sales operations with Skurnik’s distributor partners across the Western U.S., orchestrating local tastings, trade education. They can often be found spotlighting Grower Champagne along with German and Austrian wines and getting people excited about small production mezcal.
