While attending the University of Washington in Seattle, Beth started waiting tables so she didn’t have to go home for the summer. That led to tasting great wines of the world that were far divergent from the Boone’s Farm she was used to drinking over the weekend. After graduating and moving to Chicago, Beth joined a preeminent distributor there as a brand manager and thus started her journey to taste all the bubbles from around the world.

Richard Betts, legendary Little Nell somm, MS and wine personality, hired Beth to sell his wine, Betts & Scholl, while she was still in her 20’s and that search for bubbles has not stopped since then. Beth has been with Valkyrie for 10 years now, managing National Accounts based in Houston and always on the hunt for the best Asian food and wines lists in any town that her travels take her.
