If these walls could talk… The Ortiz House is the second oldest residence here in Santa Fe. Three hundred and thirty years of history, romance and intrigue lie within the property, it is our culture to help preserve one of Santa Fe’s most important historical sites! Working within the framework of the original architecture and general “flavor” of the Ortiz House, Executive Chef Josh Ortiz has curated an elegant southwestern fusion menu. Chef Josh started off cooking in the early 2000’s, where he then knew he found what he wanted to do as his lifelong career. He began as an intern cook at La Casa Sena, then went on to Santa Café, where he evolved his career working with and under David Sellers and continued learning and progressing. He then took position as Executive Chef at Rio Chama for several years. Chef Josh is a well-known staple of Santa Fe and we are grateful to have him call the Hilton Santa Fe and The Ortiz Restaurant his home!
